Hi. I am Dr. Luginbuhl (Loog-in-byool), a board certified orthopedic surgeon, and here to help with your foot and ankle troubles.
A Lancaster County Native
A native of Lancaster County, he brings a commitment to orthopaedic excellence to the community he grew up in.
Dr. Luginbuhl received his undergraduate degree at Muhlenberg College, where he excelled academically, but also showcased his talent on the soccer field. He was honored with the prestigious “Player’s Player” for two consecutive years.
Dr. Luginbuhl pursued his medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine, where he graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors, a distinction reserved for the top-performing medical students.
He then attended Temple University for Orthopaedic Surgery residency. While there, he was honored with the prestigious Joseph Thoder Award in Orthopaedic Excellence and was also named outstanding Consultant of the Year.
Dr. Luginbuhl then pursued a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, affiliated with Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Luginbuhl’s approach to patient care is characterized by patient centered care and a commitment to delivering the best possible outcomes, with or without surgery.
Outside of work, Dr. Luginbuhl enjoys spending time with his wife, Celia, and Daughter, Vera, traveling, and watching/playing soccer.

I have been a patient at LOG for almost 30 years, having been treated by different doctors there for various reasons. This was my first time meeting Dr. Luginbuhl and after having my injury examined and evaluated, I have every reason to believe that he will provide the excellent treatment that I have come to expect from a doctor at LOG!! He is very nice and easy to talk to, answered all my questions, explained everything in a way that gave me a full understanding, and full confidence, of his treatment plan for me.
